A woman called my cell phone today from a area code in my city claiming to come to my job and home to serve me papers. She then gave me this phone number to call with a case number 855-880-3282. The man said that he works for a company that try to find people who owe outstanding payday loans and verify their name and address on behalf of the original lender. The loan he speaking of is an internet payday loan i defaulted on with Payday One aka Payday OK of Delaware in 2/2008. Then have been constantly calling. they have tried to send a letter to my jobs payroll depart requesting verification of employment but my employer refused to verify without my consent. I know that Payday one is legally able to offer internet loans in my state of Tennessee. I would like to know if they can sue me and come to my job and home. How can I get them to stop calling me. I am 5 months pregnant right now and really dont have a dime to pay this off. Is there anything i can do. You help is greatly appreciated:)

use that address to report them.first file a police report as the b*tch broke the law with that call.then file AG and FTC complaints against them.then when they call again hang up without a word.do not talk to them.a bottomfeeding scam in NY that can't don't squat.file the report and complaints.then ignore their sorry a$$e$.
