hello, my name is Rob and after finding this forum a few days ago and doing some reading of other posts i have decided to take the advice given by everyone. first i tried to contact my A.G with no response then i came ehre, since i live in NY i have found that all of these pay day loans are illegal in my state which makes them null and void. I wish i found this site sooner but anyway so i took everyones advice and spoke with my bank today and have since closed that account and started a new one. they were actually very helpful and have apparently dealt with these companies on numerous occasions. so now that i have closed my account here is a list of the lenders i have used

TLCFASTCASH.com ammount borrowed $200
ammount payed $790

onceclickcash.com ammount borrowed 350
ammount payed 725

advancemetoday.com ammount borrowed 300
ammount payed 360

i have to loans with loanshoponline. one i borrowed 150 and another i borrowed 250 ammount paid total for 2 loans is 450..

so now that i have taken the first step which was to close my account what should i do know. write C&D letters or do emails work. should i tell them why its closed or leave it at that? i need all the help i can get but it already feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders
...

since my original post of this i have actually taken care of TLCFASTCAH.COM on my own after a half hour of ustomer service tickets they have closed account but will not refund overpayment which is a fair deal for me, i was actually surprised at how defensive they were when confronted

With all due respect, why are you even posting that? We've answered your questions. You know how to respond, and if you don't, here's how you do it.

"Send a refund check with my overpayment or I am calling the FTC and your state attorney general. Also, contact me back stating my account is paid in full. Thanks"
