Hey everyone, boards are slow tonight. I'm just curious. Does anyone have any tattoos? I personally have 5 8) I know some people are against them and I respect everyone's beliefs but I think they are cool.

I have
1. a red rose on my chest-got in 1994 after a really bad breakup
2. a Zia symbol (state symbol for the state of New Mexico) on my right thigh-got it for my 30th birthday
3. a really pretty tribal design with lots of pretty flowers on my lower back (my stepdaughter calls it a tramp stamp  got that one for my 32nd birthday
4. a unicorn jumping out from pages of a book on the back of my right shoulder-ouch!!!
5. a random vine thingy with purple flowers around my left ankle-just got that one a few months ago just because I wanted it :)

lol cajun can't imagine why that would be

But I would like to get one more. That would be on my other leg. I want to put a pic of of the heads of my german shepard and my 2 cats together and have a halo above my dog (he was the best dog but we had to put him down 2 1/2 years ago due to a problem with his spinal cord  ) If I do not do that I will get another wolf.

My hubby has 2. One he got years ago, it is a couple of roses with a ribbon wrapped around and in the ribbon is my name and my son and daughters name. (never told him to put my name there lol I said are you sure cause you never know what may happen lol but he did it anyway) The 2nd is of a wizzard with lightening and a few flying dragons. I really like that one. He has them on both of his arms.

Morningstar--beautiful artwork!!! So much detail and I love all the color. puddlejmpr-I love the wolf!!! It is so pretty!!! The wolf looks mad but kind of sad at the same time, to me. We stopped by the tattoo parlor tonight to see if they had anything new but they didnt, really. And I am so bummed, the guy that did me and hubby's last tatts doesnt work there anymore. We had just found this new guy after the one that did my lower back one quit. :( I have to take some pics of mine then I will post them here. I need some batteries for my camera! fins-did you think the ankle hurt more than the lower back? I did!!! I want to get another one but I don't know where. As I said before, I have lower back, small one on my chest, right calf, left ankle, and back of right shoulder. Hubby said upper thigh-anyone have any suggestions? I think one on my foot would look so cool but I am scared that it would hurt too bad. puddlejmpr, I am sorry about your doggy. That story made me cry. I love pets so much. I have thought about getting a portrait of my dog or dogs but I am afraid I would be too sad after something happened to them to look at it every day for the rest of my life, you know what I mean? I want my doggies to be with me forever.

The guy that did my tatt said that the thigh is one of the better places to get one. It hurts the least. I know I was scared to death to get mine, but then I had a hard time sitting still when he did the ear that was closest to the back of the knee, I was laughing because he must have hit something cause it tickled. Hubby was giving me the *look* when I started laughing lol.

Sorry Sass I didn't mean to make you cry :( But I love my animals also. It was a hard thing to do but I still have him here  He is still in his fav. spot in the house, by my puter lol. But with that tatt I want to see it on paper before I go through with it.

Don't apologize. I cry at the drop of a hat, my mom says. Especially if it is something having to do with animals. And especially if it is something to do with dogs!!! I don't have any kids and I never had any pets growing up so these dogs are my children and I am so attached to them!! My zia symbol is about where your wolf is. It wasn't one of the more painful ones. Like I said the shoulder hurt BAD and so did my ankle. Thank God the ankle only took 15-20 minutes because that was some major pain. Maybe I will opt for the thigh then if I get another one. I can never get anyone to tell me where it would hurt the least!

OUCH!!!!!!! 4 1/2 HOURS OMG!!!!! But I bet it is awesome. I am a big unicorn collector. I got away from it for a few years in my 20s because I thought it was immature but am back into collecting them. I am really disappointed with my unicorn tattoo. The guy that did it was an excellent artist but must have been having a bad day or something because it came out really dark and it was hard to see all the detail. I went to get it recolored and the guy that did it wasnt working there anymore so this other guy redid the color now it is like puke orange. I am ashamed to even show it to anyone and it is HUGE. :(:(:( and all my life I wanted a unicorn tattoo so bad.

I cry at the drop of a hat too esp about any animal...I was watching the kids movie Barnyard(its a cartoon) and one of the cows died (a tragic death) and I balled my eyes out! Not a tear, I mean it was so bad my 2 year old niece was hugging me and patting my back telling me it was ok.....

I saw some awesome dragonflys last night at the tatt place and thought of you immediately! And I'm so sure you are really fat. Give it a week or two and I bet nobody will be able to tell you had even been pg!!

Hubby is trying to talk me into getting my tongue pierced now since I told him you had yours done!! He told me he would do it, I told him go, now, put your money where your mouth is. He was like, you have to do it too. OUCH-I don't think so!!

I am leaving the piercing things alone. Someone talking about crying during movies and such, that is me. I use to watch some of the things on animal planet where they rescue the dogs and such but had to stop because it got to me and made me sad and angry to see how these animals are treated.

Oh, don't you hate it when you get so mad and frustrated that the only release is to cry!!!! I hate that so much! Many times at work I have gotten so upset that I have had to go into the bathroom and cry. At home I have gone outside or gone for a ride in the car. I hate for people to see me cry anyway. I hate feeling like I am weak.

I cry at the drop of a hat also. I hear certain songs--even at Christmas and cry, I see a drunk on the street and cry. Different things set off my crying. When I am mad I'll cry and I'll even start crying in the shower cuz no one can here me. And as for piercings--forgett it!!! My ears are enough for me lol.

What makes my situation even worse is I am so emotional, (hormonal, going through the big "M"). My moods go up and down like a darn rollercoaster and one minute I am happy, next mad, next sad, next frustrated and it can all be over nothing! Heck, past few days even grouchy. I sure hope these meds the dr put me on will help! Heck, today is even my anniversary and was not in the mood to celebrate or anything. Felt like it was just another day. Maybe because it is a week day, had to work, stress, hubby had to work, (or could be because we got into a big fight and things are still a little tense), who knows, maybe a combination of it all.

I cry about everything. All I have to do is think about something that makes me sad and I bawl. I can NOT watch Emergency Vets or any show like that. I can't take it!!!!!!! I can't stand seeing animals in pain or people whose animals are hurt or have to be put down, etc. I also tend to get my feelings hurt easily. Not a really good trait to have.
