I am just trying to figure out after reading this forum for about an hour now if I am understanding MN laws correctly...we have say 4-5 different payday loans and am paying lots and lots of interest and now they have thrown my checking in to the hole. Which is where it may stay unless I can do something about it. Any advise or bits of information would be great.
Thanks Dereck and Danyal

Welcome to the Community :D Here is a link for Pay Day Loan laws at http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/states.cfm find your state, and that should give you some info. Also there are alot of people here that have experienced what you are going through. Kyside has done some great work with pdls, and the attorney general in her state, you can PM her and she will help you, as well as others who have gone through this. Good Luck-keep us posted..Karen

Internet all of them...and only one is over 350... but I have gotten to the point where alot of people have been before me I am sure...to many to deal with on one account and not enought money to keep it going and still feed kids and buy diapers... I am however having my boss take my house payment out of my check for me before I ever get my hands on it so that can never be late. So I guess my question since I always like advise is where do I start first?

Alot of internet pdls operate illegally. You need only pay what you have borrowed, plus the states allowed interest, if I am not mistaken. Tal with those who have experience in this-Kyside38-Steelers-they have gone through this with success and can direct you to the right steps. Also, there are others on the board who have dealt with internet loans, and they can guide you. Google internet payday loans in the box next to your screen and read what others have done. I have no experience in this, and would rather others who do,guide you. I can TELL you what to do, but experience is the best teacher--Good Luck..Karen :D
