A Request for older members

I'm not an old member but I just read some of his blog, what a blood thirsty creep!! :x

cajun, can you post a link to the thread here, so we can access it without having to search for it?

There are multiple post in the collector's forum. He has been most civil & helpful on our board,but my alarms went to clanging with the blog.

Cajun, that's exactly who I was thinking about when I read his blog just now. Doug Danger all over again. What a creep that guy was.

I'm not sure how we should handle this, but I'm also not at all sure that we should allow a link to that type of material, which is so contradictory to our purpose here.

Is it possible to block someone from using the www button on their posts?

Only admin has that ability as this button links directly to our profile.It does not bother me much but don't be looking shocked if I call him out on his stupid degrading blog. I have been nice so far & that is a trait in short supply when I get mad. :lol:

I'm not an older member here, but I've been reall close to saying something to that one on a few occasions. Go right ahead and call him on it, CB. Saves me the trouble, and your DD knowledge may just be useful.

wulf do a search on Doug Danger on our site to see his more tame posts before banishment.Most of his more hurtful posts have been removed.I called him out on that blog already & let's just say the ole beady eyes will be watching out for him. :lol:

Seriously, I was rather hoping that he'd try to rationalize emptying that poor dude's account. Gonna be interesting to see what, if anything, he finds to post.

That IS Doug Danger. I would lay money on it. I went a few rounds with him personally, and I would know him..The verbage is almost exact. Good call, Cajun! :D Remember, Doug was very civil in the beginning at first..Then he went on a nasty spree. Be prepared!

Yeah, I remember that! I remember when he went around posting after people at random, saying suck you-know-what..I must've deleted that particular phrase 20 times one night! I remember I logged on and there were a ton of new posts, most of them him.

How about the foul language all over the guy's blog? We can't have all those f-bombs.

No. F-bombs are not appropriate here. Snide, rude, and degrading aren't particularly welcome, either.

Not sure what [if anything] we could do about the guy's blog. Not much, I suppose, as mods. Although, if it were my server, I might just redirect the guy's WWW button to barney.com........

Was this the guy that got into a heated "discussion" (for lack fo a better word) with jesse and then started posting he personal info (address, BD, Phone) all over the place?

I just read through the whole blog . . . . And I don't think it's DD . . . . If you read some of the earlier posts, this collector talks about being very empathetic to debtors, and talks about some situations where she tried to help people . . .

I agree that some of the entries sound like DD, but if you read them all, it doesn't sound so much like it's DD . . .

been gone awhile so hi to all who don't know me.. just a thought, writing styles aside, if one rants and bombs on a blog but is a good citizen here.. if it is the same person or if its not, lets just judge on their behavior here, as with anyone I like to use the three strikes your out rule.. first one a reminder of the rules of the community, second one a tern reprimand and notice of impending banishment. third time, ejection/banishment from the community.
