This is more of a technical question...

I assume the guest originally submitted this thread to the mod forum via the feedback link.

I wonder how the guest was able to come back in and make a second post under it ???

Generally if s/he went back to feedback, it would have created a new post -- not append to the existing post. I just don't get how they were able to come back into the post to add to it.

I guess I missed a lot - or a lot was deleted - because I can't tell what the guest post was referring to.

Either way I say keep an eye out and delete/edit the garbage as it comes.

Problem with asking admin for an IP address to compare with a previous member, depends on how long they keep the logs.

Other problem is dynamic IP's. I'd be willing to bet 95% of people here have dynamic IPs, and so their router is obtaining a new IP every few days when its DHCP lease runs out. An old member that last posted more than 2 weeks ago will almost certainly have a new IP by now if they are posting as a guest. (Or if they know about routers, all they have to do is unplug it and plug it back in to get a new IP address).
