2ndband - Moderator?

Totally. She has my vote. She has been here for a long time, and she is very reasonable and level headed. She never gets involved with drama, either. She has calmed me down more than once.

I whole heartedly agree. And Sass makes good points, now that I think on it she is very level headed and stays out of the drama. She is very supportive and has been helpful to me quite a bit. I think she would make a great Mod.

I agree with you all. 2ndband has the capability of becoming a moderator. You can count my name in her favor.

But before crowing her with the Moderator????????s crown, can we expect her to frequent visit and time spent to our forum a little bit more. Because on-an-average, a moderator is expected to visit the forums once per day.

Really? Because I know of several people that have been asked to be a MOD, and told Admin that they wouldn't have a lot of time to be on the site, but were still named MOD anyways.

In fact, JCEMT is a good example. At the time he was named MOD, he wasn't sure if he would be able to spend as much time on this site as he'd like because of other obligations.

I think she is a good choice too.My concerns are the same as Jason.We need managers that can check in often enough to help keep the board on track.

She has my vote. Mike had to talk me into being a mod. I told him no repeatedly until he promised that I wouldn't have to be here all of the time. Right now I don't have the time.

I think she would be great,too. I didn't realize that about being on once a day. I have been gone for 4 days, hope I am still mod :lol: karen

I'm not on once a day at all . . . . . In fact, I'm just about never on the site at all on the weekends . . . . .

Ok Guys-n-Gals...I am convinced that 2ndband can be crowned as Moderator. I am going to PM her to inform about this and ask her to accept the new status.
