Creating a blog

How, exactly, does one go about creating a blog hereabouts? I was given to understand that Simon was the person to ask, so I PM'ed him back on May 24. The PM is still sitting in my outbox, and I've heard nothing. Anybody know what's up?

Anyway, I got tired of waiting some while ago. I signed up for an account at wordpress, and I'm slowly pulling it together.
