Who keeps approving these...

This was on the old West Asset thread in collection agencies. That thread's been dead as a doornail for about eight months.

I wonder if somebody's fine-tuning a bot?

They are getting thru without approval. I deleted a butt load this morning and more kept showing up while I was deleting.

i've been in and out and have been deleting them as well.they are absolutely annoying.i thought about the bot thing too.

I've been in and out of here all day today, too damn cold to ride. I've probably 86'ed about a hundred of those posts so far.

I don't know if it's a bot or not, but somehow they are getting through. I deleted 10-15 everytime I was on the computer this weekend. As soon as I would delete, another would come up.

I wondered how they were getting approved too!!..karen

The only posts that I am seeing that need approval are posts to the Pub. Any other forum and they just pop up. Is that just me?

i noticed that yesterday.when this bot posted to the PUB forum i saw it on the pending.others it went straight to the thread.

I noticed that too. I don't know how they are getting through in the threads, but need approved in the pub?!

i just know that i deleted the tard-bot a dozen times last night and a few this morning.very irritating.

There is no spam filter for any forum except "Pub". So, the guest posts made in these forums are directly posted without requiring the Mods to approve it. Spam filters are intentionally inactivated for these forums because of the following reason: -
If a debt-ridden guest posts in these debt related forums and couldn't find his/her post posted then he/she may get baffled and find the system to be unfriendly. Thus, the guest may bounce back having a bad impression about our forum.

But in case of pub such apprehension doesn't work as it is solely a recreational forum and instantaneous posting is not a necessity.

I was just getting a little frustrated, was all. I'm kinda time-limited for now, and I'd prefer to spend my time here answering questions and helping folks. There have been a couple of times recently where all I had time to do was delete spam.
