Usually the pdl laws will be applicable on the state in which the loan has originated. You should check whether or not pdl is legal in that state in which it has originated. If it is legal, then you need to make sure whether or not payday loan companies from where you have taken the loan are licensed to operate in that state. If it is licensed, then you will have to pay both the principal and interests. Otherwise, you are required to pay only the principal amount. If you default on the loan, then the lenders may file a lawsuit against you. Once the court issues a judgment against you, the lenders can garnish your wages.
