And I got my mod hat back, too. :)

Sorry about being gone for so long. Work, ya know. I finally found a way around that, though. I fired the client I was consulting for. Let them find somebody they'll actually listen to.

Anyway, how have y'all been? I notice a few changes around the site and community. Going well?

Hey Unk!! It is good to see you and have you back! I can't tell you who has come and gone from here-happens too quick for me to keep up. This new site change thing is different than the other,as I am sure you found out.

I know about work--sometimes it is hard to fit everything in just one day.....glad to have you back..karen:D

Thanks, DC! Damn, but it's good to be back. I already do a lot of 'community service' type work. But there's something extra good about what we as a team do here. And turning the tables on an abusive, out-of-control collector just really warms the cockles of my heart (whatever those are...) :)

Don't let the bastards wear you down! That's what happened to me, and all for nothing. That client only brought me in to get the state regulators off their back. They never had any intention of implementing the solution they paid me to develop.

Takeaway: Focus on the things that truly matter. There are other things in life than work.

lol yea i was sooo scared of calling collectors, or sending them letters or even thinking about them! i have no idea why, looking back it was kind of funny. :)
