Problems deleting threads

You did not select any posts to which the action you picked can be applied.
But, I did select the post.
The last post in the link below will not delete, nor will it let me move it:

I realize that you told us before you are in the midst of upgrading but I am just letting you know the errors I have been having this weekend.

1. Go to 'thread tools'.
2. Selete 'delete thread'.
3. Then click on 'perform action'.
4. Then 'physically remove' the thread form the board.
Try if this works. If not, then please let me know.

As a rule that would generally work, but this past weekend it didn't seem to be working for me. There were a lot of errors again. One I see is still occurring, I tried to post them yesterday but when I hit the submit reply button my post disappeared into thin air. That was happening a lot the past few days.
1.) Post Since Last Visit (767) - I can't get this to clear, I have clicked on the Mark Forums Read but each time I return the post count increases.
2.) Other members were double and triple posting, yet they claimed they did not see their first post so they continued to post more of the same threads.
3.) When I do a search to find the new posts, the older posts are showing up, I realize there is a setting in my profile where I can choose the older posts or the newer posts first, but this is not the problem, I already took care of that and am still having problems with searching new posts!

One more thing, as you can see above, my post count keeps changing from lower to higher! Or from higher to lower! It decreases instead of increases, or vice versa!

The number of posts I make keep changing, they are way off the number they should be. Either they are much lower than they should be, or much higher. They aren't consistent.
