It all started when I lost my job in 2002 while struggling through my divorce. To cover my bills I took out cash advances. It was fine for awhile until I took out so much that I was only able to make minimum payments and wasn't gaining anything. Finally got a new job that paid well enough that I was able to start nipping away. After cutting away at the bill things were looking great until about 3 months ago my cousin and life-long best friend past away from a rare incident of 90% artery blockage to his heart at the age of 27. I struggled emotionally for 2 months lost my job again, after being there for 4 years and went back to taking cash out to cover my bills. But right now I do not make enough to cut down my bills, I really dont even have enough to cover all my bills per month. So that is my financial story to put it in short terms.

Hi.
I'm very very sorry to hear about your loss. You will start to feel better in time, I promise you.

You came to the right place. It sounds like debt consolidation could be an option..A counselor will be calling you to talk about different options. It's a free consultation, and you are under no obligation. At any rate, they can give you some good advice about budgeting.

Everyone who has ever lost someone near and dear to them can relate to what you are feeling right now. And right now it probably seems like everything is against you, but don't dwell on this. You are alive and vital and still have work to do while you are here on earth. Good for you taking the first steps to take charge of your finances. Good luck and keep us posted.

Things will definitely turn out in the better direction. You need to keep the hopes alive and get started with the consolidation program. Things will start to improve after the accounts get paid off in the plan. The payment plans will be fixed as per your present financial situation so that you don't have to take on the stress. The counselor will be calling you soon and discuss on your debt accounts.
