I have about $21,500 in debt. I have car payments, a store charge card, and a personal loan taken out from a Federal Credit Union. I am in the army and I am married. I have a six month old child and the bills just keep piling on and I feel as if I don't have enough money for my family to take care of them. I feel as if I can't provide them with a roof over their heads beause all the multiple payments I'm making are taking away needed money. Please help me.

Welcome to the forums :D Since you signed up, someone will contact you soon to discuss your options ie:consolidation vs settlement, etc. Other than your car loan, consolidation may be of great help to you. It would greatly lower your interest, which in turn would give you more money to work with. It also has one monthly payment. Good luck to you and your family-keep posting, and feel free to ask any questions...Karen

Hi PuertoCheech, I can feel for you. Please don't let your problems take control over you. Bossy has given you good advice above. A debt management program can be good for you at this stage. The money that you are spending towards paying your debts can be reduced by arranging a lower pay off. The plan can be prepared according to your present income and you will save a large portion at the end of each month. This saving will allow the money to be used towards other utility bills and rolling the monthly expenses. Think positive with the program. You will get success. See the benefits you will get in the program.
