It is just that the high interest rates on these credit cards overwhelm you. I thought I would be able to catch up, but could not. Life's costs just kept coming and coming. I considered bankruptcy because it was the only option I knew about. I have a job and intended to pay the debt off.

Bankruptcy is also one way of credit repair for some people. Although the consequences can be negative for the next few years, but the existing debts are simply discharged. There won't be any hassle of paying them back. Before you finally consider bankruptcy, look into other favorable options like a debt consolidation or a debt settlement.

The interest charges are making your payments tougher. A consolidation plan will allow you to pay off the debts at lower interest rates. Besides, some late payment fees can also be waived off. The total amount of debt will minimize by a large sum. Talk with a debt counselor for your options before you finally decide your next move.

debt settlement14 will also sound good if consolidation is not the option for you. This is just the program between the consolidation and the bankruptcy. The payments in the settlement plan will be lower than the consolidation program. If you are finally decided with filing bankruptcy, consider this option of settling your debts. In most cases, it sounds helpful
