Debt consolidation, please help!

After getting out of the military i had trouble finding a job. The first sign of bad credit was the repossesion of my jeep. Then came the military star card acct. Next thing i know i'm stuck in debt with no where to turn. I am now married and have a new baby, 7 months old. We desperately want to buy a new home for ourselves but the vehicle loan we have is at 22% intrest. I want to pay what i owe but cannot afford the late fees and penalties that are being charged. Once you start the program, all the bills will get paid at lower interest rates. The counselor will talk with your creditors for waiving off the late payment fees.
