I was in a car accident in February and it set me back. I have been having a hard time making bills since the accident. I owe approx 10,950 on my car, 3,400 on a credit card and 400 on a loan. I need to know what kind of payment I can get and when I would need to start payment. My phone is going to be shut off any day now so if need be please contact me via email email address removed as per forum rules Mod

Check your email account that you provided while registering here. Their phone number is sent along with the info. You will hear from a consultant for the free counseling. He will plan your repayments with the creditors and help you in getting started with the program. Take a look at the consolidation benefits you can expect in the program.

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're going through rough times. You should be able to put your unsecured debt (credit card and loan) in a debt consolidation program, but the car loan wouldn't be eligible.

Hopefully a debt counselor can get in touch with you before your phone is shut off, so you can discuss your situation and get some further info. Is it possible for the phone company to work out a payment arrangement with you so you don't get your service disconnected?
