My name is Brandon Costello, my life is not the way I want it. It all started when I turned 18 and my mother asked me to get here and my sister a cell phone. Next thing i know my mom and my sister did not pay there bill and i recieved a bill for a 1000 dollars. So i started to pay on that. Then i graduated from high school and my parents told me that they would pay for my collage, so i went. Next thing i recieve my school bills, call my parents and they have no money. So once again i am stuck with the bill. So i decide to live on my own, and see a co-worker looking for a place to live, so i let her move in. She did not pay her half of the bills, so i got stuck with the bill. I know that you probley hear stories like this every day. But i am always in a depressing mood, knowing that i am only 20 years old and have horrible credit. I need help from someone to get me out of this bind. I would like to be able to buy a home in the future for my family.

Hi Brandon, first off welcome and I will tell you right from the start that you will find support here so keep posting. As for your bills I am sorry that you are stuck in these situations at a young age but rest assured there is hope and it will clear up. In regards to the cell phone bill, if it is soley used by your mother and sister have it cut off or put in one of their names. Pay $10 or whatever you can afford towards it until it is payed off. In regards to school bills if you will clarify if these are loans or tha actual fee bills from the school that would help. As for roomate and getting stuck with the bill that has happened to many of us its just a matter of picking and choosing, its a gamble. If her name is on any of the leases or utility bills then she is responsible but if your name is the only one unfortunatly you are responsible. Just make sure to get your credit back to where it is a positive and not a negative that you do NOT accrue any more unsecured debt. Also if you can get part time jobs to help pay some of these bills down that will help. I know others will chime in with other ideas so stick around. Good luck
