I had a baby...so I wasn\'t able to work for 6 weeks after I had the baby and now no one will hire me even though I have experience. I haven\\\'t been able to pay my bills as I am waiting to get a job.

Congratulations on your baby!! I know that this is a life changing experience. I also know that it messes up your schedule, making it really difficult to find the hours you need in a job.

Keep putting in aps..Something is better than nothing. With the holidays here, someone is bound to call you.

Congratulations! How old is s/he now?

If the baby is grown up, do you know someone who can take care while you are gone at work? Growing up kids is the hardest job in my view. Mother has to take the major responsibility because she is the one who can take most care. Maybe, you have to wait for some time until there is another alternative.

finsfan is right---holiday season is a great time to get your foot in the door at many places (retail, factories, etc.). How about registering with a temp agency? Many times those positions will work into permanent jobs. I don't know how it is in the rest of the country, but here in my part of southern California, temp agencies are the only places big companies will hire through.
