I was able to successfully have one remove, however I recently pulled up my credit report and I have the same company Midland double charge on my credit for the same amount, a cell phone carrier with a wrong amount and a credit card company that I stopped using since 1993. Could you best advice me what I should do in order to handle this? Thanks... greatly appreciated.

Sandra, you have to dispute the item that was already removed from your credit report. Midland can re-enter the remark in your file only after they can prove the debt with them.

Do you have the copy of the dispute placed earlier? That could give your dispute a stronger effect with the bureau. Inaccurate negative items are not supposed to stay in your credit copy because they are hurting your credit scores. Those viewing your file will get a bad impression of you for wrong reasons.
