i cannot believe what they did with him.
my mother call me 3 times already very angry with these people.my mother told me that nobody is immune to any ilness and this people dont fear GOD.my mother said bad things can returned to them when people are doing bad things against others and dont believe nobody saw what they do.GOD IS WATCHING EVERYBODY.GOD knows who is good and who is bad in this world.
GOD KNOWS ABOUT THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE OF THIS FORUM.

Tania, that is just awful how your husband's family treats him. Thank God he has you and your supportive family to be there for him. If I was him, I would just stop all contact with his family until they can start acting like family. I hope you, your husband and the rest of your family have a wonderful new year.

My story begins when I rented a townhouse from an owner/lawyer who did not care about his property, only his money. I won't go into detail as I have written it all on a previous thread; but basically, I moved out due to deplorable living conditions, tried to make payment arrangements, he underhandedly got a judgment against me as well as an order for garnishment of my wages of 25% per paycheck. I previously had taken out four internet payday loans in an attempt to "stay afloat." Also, I work at a medical transcription company, and we are paid by how many lines we type. The end of the year is always slow for us, this year being no exception. We are now almost finished with the garnishment (it started the end of September and will be finished the beginning of February). I was able to take care of my internet loans with the advice from people here. No matter how desperate my situation seems, I have not once considered taking out another PDL. Instead, I have juggled bills, do my grocery shopping at Aldi's (which for those of you not familiar with them is a grocery store where you can buy groceries at 50% to 75% of what you would pay at a regular grocery store), walking rather than using the car more often and basically just watching what we spend. I am confident that once the garnishment is up, I will be able to save money, just from the adjustments we have had to make.

There will come a day when his family will need something, and when they get backs turned on them, they will understand.

Dbaker--Aldi is awesome! I shop there a lot. My Chris has a Christian rock band, and a lot of times we will have 3-4 other bands come into town to play with him, and we normally have to feed them. I can feed the 15-20 people under $50.

I also buy that bagged salad there..It costs like 89 cents, and at Kroger it's usually $2-$3.

I also have been doing a lot at Giant Eagle stores to get the Fuelperks points. I've accumulated 70 cents off each gallon of gas so far. Every $50 you spend, you get 10 cents off gas.

Jessi, I know. One time when I went shopping, I just didn't want to take the extra time it would have taken to drive to Aldi's, so I went to Tops. I bought everything I usually do at Aldi's except the meat. I didn't buy any meat this time. When I got in line, I thought okay, it should even out because I didn't buy any meat. Do you know even without the meat, I spent almost twice what I usually spend at Aldi's? From now on, I make the time to go to Aldi's or I don't go shopping until I can go there. My sister said you can save a lot on gas by shopping at Giant Eagle, too. I'm also going to check out the list of generic prescriptions you can get for $4.

Antibiotics are FREE...Like amoxicillin. When I went to pick up Chris's prescript. it was free...I was like GAHHH! Because I paid for mine at Kroger.

You're KIDDING!! Wow. I definitely have to check into that. My kids are always on antibiotics during the winter for one thing or another.

If you go to their website it has the list of free prescripts and the $4 prescripts.

Of course, my Wellbutrin is not on the list. :( I should bring my Dr. the list and say, "Put me on something on THIS LIST!" LOL

Lol - that's not a bad idea. Before our company offered insurance for us work-at-homers, my pediatrician wrote a prescription for Keflex for my son. There was no way I could pay the price they wanted; so I called the pediatrician, and he did change it to something generic. It's worth a try.

Here's some facts about Aldi that might surprise you:

German company.

They carry $0 debt. All their stores are built and paid for with cash, so they open making money on the very first sale without having to pay off loans.

Most of their products are made by major manufacturers. For example, did you know the Aldi's pies are made by Baker's Square? They are. Get their chocolate pie and try it side to side with a French Silk. Identical, cuz they came from the same plant.

Boy, most American companies could learn something from Aldi. Great way to do business.

Meijer's has started the free prescriptions for common antibiotics for kids under 15 here in Michigan (I think that's the age limit, anyway), and Wal Mart has the $4 prescriptions. I think that's a great deal - wish it had been around when my youngest was a baby - we sometimes had to borrow money in addition to our paychecks to buy his prescrips.

i forget is 2007 but i went in my country every year,before with our money and after all the problems here with my husband that became blind and lost his job and had lost his mother in 2004 that help him with money paying everything for him. he traveled with my family's money2004, 2005 , 2006 and every year we go.we survived with my family's money.my brother in law and my sister in law had acres in west palm beach and 2 houses of 1 million dollar and my mother in law left this apartament for my husband live for life and left 17000,oo in bank america for my brother in law paid a $150,00 for the condominium every month and maybe more money.I NEVER SAW THE WILL and my husband cannot have nothing in his name(credit cards bills)but i'm sure is in my brother in law name but my mother in law told me nobody can take my husband apartament until he dies.
my brother in law never show the will to us.my husband dont want i asked him for the will with a laywer.i really dont understand what is a 150,00 for them if they have to give one day 1 time a month 150,00 to his sick brother and get the appartament only for them???MY BROTHER IN LAW TOLD ME ONE time that everything belong to him and he is the(1)only brother of my husband.onlY 1 BROTHER BUT NOT A GOOD BROTHER.
my mother and my daughter are send me now a 1000,oo a1200,oo a month and my brother in law and my sister in law hate me because they want to sell the apartament or give for my sister in law mother's to live here and take everything for them and my husband wants to leave here because he wants to take care of his mother and father things(already dead) and dont want to go to my country with me to live overthere.

their mother dies in 2004.he tells the apartament belongs to him and told he dont go to pay the condominium of a 150,00 and disapeared with the will.i told him:where the 17.000,oo of bank america?this money was in the name of my husband to be used with him.
my husband have the bedroom of my mother in law full
of her clothes,shoes,etc...since 2004 when she dies
and i begin to take my husband since 2004 to my country with the money of my family and pay all the bills here because his social security disability belongs to his credit cards.(623,00 a month)
my brother in law is really angry with me becauseI NEVER LIVE MY HUSBAND and he had told my brother that lives in pleasanton one time that he call there that i"m crazy too because i live with my husband.if i never married my husband his life will be different now.
some people really cannot understand what love is.

my brother in law goes to restaurant a 200,00 for person and one time my father in law have to paid
a 800,00 bill in the new york restaurant for my mother in law,him,my husband and me because my sister in law told that was a good restaurant!!!my sister in law told us that always she and my brother in law came here and my father in law have only
asked for pay a bill because my brother in law have a birthday.
i dont think rich people is bad and i know people that have money and have houses like them or more money than them and they are very nice people.they help others and dont make funny of poor people.

Tania, don't listen to what your husband's family says. You know the love you have for your husband, and that's all that matters. I really think they're jealous because they see how much you care for each other. They seem consumed by greed. It's too bad because it gets in the way of feelings for each other. I'd rather be poor with a good marriage than rich with a bad one. Don't worry about what other people think, just about what you and your family think.

Tania, forget your husbands' family. He is very lucky to have someone like you to take care of him and love him. I'm glad you are part of this forum family :D ..Karen

today was asking GOD WHY he is became blind.
i feel very sorry for him and i think this is his story because my life is a lot better than him.
i have good vision and my family really cares for me

i told him i love him and i give some tapestry for
him fixed.he is very good with his hands and he can make until furniture.

i was telling GOD to help him and i really make everything to help him in his life.
i dont go to permit any bad debt collectors ,his familY or any Bad perSon make his life more difficult that really is now.

Tania--That is great that your husband can still do his tapestry work! I bet it's very beautiful.

Tania, if your husband is still able to do tapestry work, have you ever thought of encouraging him to do this as a small business venture where he is the boss? He can pick and choose when he will work and how much work he will take on? Not only could this bring in extra money, it would be great for his self esteem.

My friend's mom makes jewelry and things and sells them at local craft shows--He could maybe do something like that but with his tapestries. And it would be something fun for you to do together. :)I would totally buy from him. :)

That's a great idea you guys..I've always wished I was handy like that.

I come from a family of "crafty" people. My grandmother taught me how to hand stitch quilts. So sometimes I will hand stitch quilts for people, and I am also very good at art. I will also do portraits for people, they just give me a picture and I will put that into a portrait. I love doing this it is very relaxing and it also helps out with the budget sometimes. But I can't do a whole lot of them because these are very time consuming.

I can't do any of that..I'm just working on a football book, seriously. I'll get it published, but I doubt if I'll get rich. I'm slowly building credentials, though..

It takes time. I get alot of requests, but I am very busy so I can't do this very much, at least not as much as I would like to. I work full time, go to nursing school, take care of my kids, and also will work part time jobs here and there. So it doesn't leave much time to do a whole lot of requests. I think your book will be more successful than you think.

LOL, thanks for the ego boost. Everyone is good at something, everyone knows a lot about something. My passion is football. I don't know why. It's not just about liking the sport..I KNOW it. My trivia knowledge goes back to the 1920's, and I know stats like you wouldn't believe. I can always call penalties before the refs, and I keep up to date with yearly rule changes.

Men usually don't understand how well I know it..At first. Then they are either shocked and ask me for my opinion on their fantasy teams, or get mad. I have never ever in my life met ANYONE who knows the sport better than me. LOL, but I guess that's my one true talent. It would be a lot more useful if it was something different!

i grew up with blind people.i live with my family 15
years in a house inside INSTITUTO BENJAMIN CONSTANT.
instituto benjamin constant,av pasteur 350 praia vermella,rio de janeiro is a free school for blind and my father was a general doctor for the blind.the school is really big and they have everything for blind people overthere.only my father was a resident doctor this time.(1952 to 1967)i have 3 sisters and 2 brothers,my mother and the baby sitter(maria) that was abused for her father and went to live with us since 18 years old until 72 years old when she dies in 2004 with cancer.she was family.we live in a small house with a very big yard and i have 4 cats,a dog,a tortuga ,i have a parrot,birds,etc...we play with blind people,we always participated of beautiful parties for blind.i have teachers blind like a cientist professor malcheur that burn his eyes in an experiment and teached very good matematics.the vile of blind people was near our house and every birthday or party they invited us.the children of the blind we meet in this time had not problem in their vision and they really took care good of the blind parents.today some children of the blind are doctors.(last time i saw same of them was 1985).
the vile of the blind get big and for so many years since 1985 i didnt went there.
i live there since 2 years old to 17 years old.my father was like a king overthere because blind people
adored him and us.they love my father because he was
a very good doctor and he always fight for the rights of the students of ibc.he never leave nobody
take advantage of them.my father never accept anything that was for blind people like some easter eggs they send to us in easter and my father told people to give back for the blind.he dont accepted no car for him and he used only his car.he went many times to the kitchen to see if the best food go for the blind students.my father participated from research in blindness causes and he gets excelent citations in a government paper from a very important director of this research.
in 1967 my father moved for brasilia (capital of brazil) and the government (ministerio of culture) offered him a very good job in brasilia.the institute benjamin constant belongs to ministerio da cultura(government).
he works in brasilia and lives there until he dies in 1999.i have a brother that born in brasilia in 1971and my daughter is from 1973..many blind people visit my father and us in brasilia when he left the institute and some take planes to visit him.many people have died like my father and many people are new in the ibc(instituto benjamin constant).
i think this is a very important story of my life.
i think my mother is wonderful and she was the truth love of my father.my daughter,grandaughters ,my sisters,brothers and their families continued to be a great family for me and my husband.
i really enjoy this forum of debt consolidation care
because the members remember me always my family and all good people i have meet in this life.

the last year i told my husband the name

him scream:are you blind? you cannot
read? some people really are stupidy

i live in a building that have not
a ramp for wheelchair'people have to
use the garage and i think this is
discrimination against people.
