He will combine everything under one plan at lower interest rate. Stick to the plan once you have started the program. The counselor will negotiate with your creditors for a lower interest rate. If you miss any of the payments, creditors will take back all the benefits and you will again find yourself in a touch situation. Ask your consultant to do some budgeting for you if that helps in managing your finance.
