As a young soldier I had a lot of money coming in and few bills to pay. That quickly changed as I "grew up," bought my first house, and a new car. After about living in the house for a year I had to move, as I had finished my military career, and had taken a large paycut in the process. I had to take out some loans and get a couple of credit cards to help "fix-up" the house to help it appreciate for a little more, plus help with moving expenses. When I arrived in WA the jobs were few, and the house did not sell, so deeper into debt I plunged, trying to cover my expensise here and there. Finally I landed a great paying job and worked hard (60-70hrs/wk) and started to get back on my feet, but all of a sudden without warning I was let go from the position as a credentialing issue had come up, that there was no way around. I took the largest pay cut to date and no find myself making just barelly enough to cover my bills/debt and nothing else.

Jobs are too much unsecured these days. It doesn't matter how hard you work for the company and what reputation you create, if the job satisfaction starts missing, it gets a different turn and the decision to leave becomes the only answer. I am sorry that you are going through a hard time and this is adding on more debts. You definitely have to find a new job at the earliest. Even if you consider a debt management program, you need a job just to roll in your current expenses and make the monthly payments.
