i realy need help to fix my credit

shortly after 9/11 i got lay off and unemployement wasn t engh even to cover my basic obligations so i couldnt do anything to save my credit and i didnt care i ve trayed to fiel a bank rapsy but couldnt get a credit report they needed a for of identification in form of a credit/debit card witch i didnt have now i got a study job and i m traying to get back on track

Could you explain a little more about the trying to file bankruptcy? What was it they needed for identification?
