1st Credit of America showing a debt that I owe

I received a letter from 1st credit of america wednesday feb. 21 07, stating that i owed $526.94 from a P.C.M. Management. It raised some doubt because i couldn't remember dealing with a PCM Management, and i never got anything in the mail a PCM Management in the past stating that i owed a debt so why all the sudden would i owe that amount of money now. I did some research online about this 1st credit of america and think that i have come to the conclusion that they make false claims about debts, I will be contacting them tomorrow. Any words of advice would be helpful.

Sure I gots plenty of advice! Do not call them. Send them a debt validation letter certified return receipt with a paragraph stating it is inconvenent to call me at home and calls to my employer are prohibited. Please contact me by written method only.

Make them validate!!! They are nothing more than a bottom feeding collection agency. They were once known as Avylon Technologies until the AG of Illinois shut them down. Then they resurfaced as 1st Credit of America. They violate the fdcpa laws. I have dealt with them. I actually had to call the police on them because of the harassment.
