Poor credit score.

Welcome to the Community :D The way to get your credit score higher is to check out all 3 credit reporting agencies, and see what they are reporting. If there are errors, you can dispute those. Unfortunately, some things remain on your report for a number of years, and you have to wait until they fall off,if I am not mistaken. Paying bills on time is a way also to raise your score,getting paid in full letters of someone reporting on you for dispute can help also.
