I need help!

I have acquired about $8,000-$10,000 worth of debt between two credit cards. The late fees that have applied make it impossible for me to pay the minimum monthly balances and I haven't paid one for months. If I could work out some type of payment plan with my creditors (Capital One and Providan)I could better budget my income and I would sleep better at night. Unfortunately, I am not a very good negotiator, and I have not dealt with this type of problem before. I would appreciate a consultation.

You registered here for the free counseling.. right?? So, someone from your area will call and discuss about your current financial problems. Explain everything to him. He will review the income and expenses and figure out your payment plans. Then, he will send your proposals to the creditors and do the negotiations. You will pay to the consolidation company and they will post the payments to your credit accounts. Sooner, you will be on your way to become debt free.
