Court date

I have a court date in 2 days for old CC debt. Blitt and Gaines in Illinois. I was working with a very nice lawyer who worked out a deal for me, but had to come up with the money in 2 days. I could not do that wanted to make payments. I found out my so-called lawyer could not or was not willing to practice in my county. So, he filed the Federal suit against them and I am left to fend for myself on the state level. Should I try to make arrangements with them before I go on Friday? Will I be able to extend by court date, because of having no lawyer? I am really started to get scared....I don't even know if Blitt and Gaines will talk with me. Please give me some insight on my situation..............HELP!!!!!
