Please help me about ruben & yates law firm

I saw alot of ppl talking about how ruben & yates r an illegal law firm & they r con artist;so i am vey worried cuz i am dealing w/ them myself;awhile back i received calls from them,but i didn't know they were illegal,so i made an agreement w/ them to pay $150 a month & i did send them 2 payments,but then i stopped cuz i couldn't afford it,so i started ignoring their phone calls, but just yesterday may 17,2010 they called & left a voice message on my cell saying that they r going to take funds from my account & if there is not enough money in there for them to take there will be a fee & if i wanted to talk w/ them to call them asap,but then i found this website & it gave me insight,but i still don't know what to do,can they really take money from my bank account without me counsolating them? Should i talk w/ them?should i go to the bank & talk w/ someone there ?please help me asap please

They cannot take money from your account unless you have given them authorization in writing or they have a court order. If they are illegal/scammers don't send them any more money. You can tell your bank to block any debits by these people, but what they told you was most likely a threat to scare you into doing what they want.
