After some consecutive on time payments your account is reported as current instead of delinquent and ???paid as agreed??? status in credit report is not considered as a negative mark.

Don't let your account go charged off. If this status appears in your credit report, you will be entering a negative remark for the next 7 years. This will hurt you regularly whenever you will be looking for new credit.
Try to settle the debt before it takes a negative shape.
You do not need to worry at all if your credit report shows 'paid as agreed' towards a particular account. The creditors will have to update the accounts and they will do so after you have completed the payments with them. Stick to your payment plan with them otherwise they take back the benefits given to you.
Also, put everything in writing so that you have a record of every correspondence made. Try a smart negotiation with your creditors and you will be able to maintain your credit file in good shape.
