I called this morning and to tell mr Fulton that I had reported him and nationwide to the AG of Ohio and New Mexico for their illegal practices of collecting. He informed me that I waived my rights to Ohio law and I was under the jurisdiction of New Mexico law. I stated that he failed to validate the debt nor did he comply with any of my requests, when things became heated he put Mr Blake of the phone and he and I started at one another...I explained to him that I was not going to pay another $600 for a $390 loan and I would comply with Ohio law...For the mean time I paid $150 this week and will pay another $150 in two weeks until the AGs office intervienes and I get my refund! They didnt know what hit them!

I dont think it is true. Are they licensed in your state? I got threatend with Intenet Fraud. They even called and said it was the Internt Fraud Task Force these people will stop at nothing. They are being sued by the state of WV right now. KYSIDE38

In OH you won't be charged. They have to prove intent to defraud, which means you took out the loan or several in a day or within a few days of eachother and then turned around and closed the account. And the prosecutor isn't going to allow an unlicensed pdl to file charges for something that isn't a crime. In OH pdls are considered unsecured debt. Please do not listen to their false threat of charging you with passing bad checks, that is laughable. If it makes you feel better, contact the Department of Financial Institutions and they will tell you the same thing. You are going to be fine. Relax. NO JAIL FOR YOU!
