Thanks for posting a very interesting and informative article, Ryan! I hope that they are able to get that cap on the interest soon or outlaw pdl's altogether. I loved the guy that went to the meeting dressed up like a shark. I hope everyone in Ohio reads this article. And you see how Checksmart says people in OH are happy with their services and don't complain. Well you know what? I never complained either, because I thought that I didn't have any right to, or any choice.

The laws in Ohio need to be changed and the ag has been looking into the pdls and preditory lending for the last couple of months. Your topic is moderated to the relevant forum. That's why it's here in the creditors and collection agency database. It's nice of you to share this information on the board. I for one will be interested to see payday loans prohibited in Ohio. There are many people in this state who easily get trapped with these loan places and pay high interest rates. The legal aids must dysfunction these places.
