I have a loan with one click cash in ohio what is the legal action they can take , can they garnish paycheck

Any loan company that is doing fair business can take legal actions and put a garnishment after they prove that you are not paying the debts.

First, you have to understand the business of One Click Cash. Are they licensed in your state? Are they adding up proper fees and interests on your account? What is your side of the story that you can use as defense?

I had a loan with One Click Cash. I had overpaid fees. I sent them a certified letter stating that and withdrawing ACH. They replied that my account would be zeroed out, but NO REFUND. I have filed a complaint with Attorney General of my state and Department of Finance. Now I am just waiting.
Good luck.

Hi Chrissy,

Welcome to the forums. I live in Ohio as well and I am dealing with One Click Cash myself. They have crawled out from under their rock after months of being quiet. I thought the matter was settled. They are not licensed in Ohio which is a violation of state law. Do a search for the Ohio Check Cashing Loan Act or for the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions. How much have you paid on this loan? Have they contacted you about defaulting on it? A little more detail would be helpful. Rollovers are not allowed in Ohio. Since they are not licensed, they can't take legal action. If they take you to court here, show up, they can be arrested for doing illegal business here.

kyside38.....thank you but my problem is i took out $200 one time and paid back $60 in principal. Now I have out a $250 loan and only paid so far $225 in interest. So I guess I haven't reached the principal yet of $250 so I don't know how this works and what I need to do. All I know is I lost my job yesterday, am closing my bank account on Monday to prevent debits, and then i don't know what I do after that. Please advise.

Ohio is the worst state to work with. I called the license data base on some payday loans and not one of them had a license in Ohio. The lady at the data base said they had to have a license to do business in Ohio. Then she transfered me to the regulatores and they said the online payday loans did not have to have a license to do business in Ohio! She said if your client does not pay the payday loans can go after them with legal action. Right out of the regulatores mouth. I about fell out of my chair! They are the only state that has said this. She even confirmed it with a co-worker and i heard the same thing from her. Dont figure.

I had a loan with one click cash they are all the same PD6 adventures, M1ydirect etc etc. I fought and fought with them sent them letters and letters and it was not until finally I had enough and I filed with the AG office and the Federal trade commission and I received a $240.00 refund from them! and all I asked for was that my account was paid in full so, do not mess around gather up your documentation and file with the AG.
