Just some FYI for people looking for loans, I received a call stating that I was accepted for a loan amount of 5000, but it was a secured loan because of my credit. I sent 662.30 through Western Union. Well needless to say I never received the money in my account. This organization is North American Financial Services and the web site is fasteasyloansonline.com. I have reported them to my state assembly and also to the police!

Thanks for the info dolphin. Your post will definite save some people from losing their dollars. IMHO, every body should do some research before doing any financial transactions. SCAM is everywhere nowadays.

One of the forum members has compiled a list of fraudulent loan companies who are real parasites. Please check this list and also spread it around so that nobody gets trapped in future. Hope they will close their business someday. Thanks again.

jd5351, try this out. Credit card companies do telemarketing of pre-approved credit cards to the consumers. You can stop such calls by calling 1-888-5-OPTOUT (1-888-567-8688) and have your name removed from the direct marketing list. You can also register in the DoNotCall list.

Contact each of the credit bureaus and enable the opt out feature in your CR. After enabling this feature, all the marketing calls should stop and you will also get rid of the temptation of being further in debt.
