I have been trying to find the laws on Voluntary Wage Assignment in Oregon. I have been told that it is not legal in my state (Oregon), but I can't find it anywhere. Also, I am trying to find the laws about digital signatures. How legal are they, and how can a digital signature look just like my husbands if everything was done online. Any help would be appreciated.

Does not really matter what the law is on voluntary wage assignment, since it is voluntary you can revoke it at anytime. Just send a revocation letter to the company and tell them that you are revoking the voluntary wage assignment, make sure that your payroll department is aware of the letter also. I did this with a payday loan company, So I know for sure that you can legally revoke it.

Above is the link to the Electronic Signature Act. It is kind of a boring read, but electronic signatures are just as legal as pen and ink signatures.

I did read somewhere that wage assignements are only legal if the person signs pen and ink and in person. I have nothing to back that claim up though so you may want to look into it further.

So for the electronic signature, it shows on the document as your husbands handwritten signature? I know when I've signed things "electronically" it just shows my name typed, or it shows my typed name and ss#.

Do they have something that has your husbands signature on it? They must or how else would they know what it looks like?

The laws regarding e signatures are called "ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES IN GLOBAL AND NATIONAL COMMERCE ACT" and I looked through it quickly and don't think it says anything about how the signature should look. I think it's up to the business how they want it to show.
