i see that only few companies do payday loan settlement/consolidation. Is there some major differences with payday loan settlements/consolidations?

From the way I understand it, in payday loan settlement, you set up a seperate bank account and save a certain amount of money there every month. When you get to an amount specified by the company you are working with, you then send them the money and they negotiate a settlement for you at pennies on the dollar. In consolidation, they don't settle the balances for you, you send the company a certain amount of money every week or every month and they pay the creditors on your behalf.
