Hi msmishele30
Have you paid any money towards this account? What is the name of the loan company? On what charges do you think you want to file your complaint against the loan company? Please tell us in detail so that I can reach till the depth of this matter.
lender
Ben,
Here is the situation. The name of the lender is JD Marketing. I just found out yesterday they are location in Las Vegas. I took out a loan in May for $300, with a $90 finance fee. The finance fee came out of my account every two weeks. I attempted to pay the loan off in full at the end of June. I remember this becaues I had a little extra money and paid another one off. I faxed in the form to them stating to pay the full $390. Unfortunately, I shredded the document after that. I did not think I would have a problem since I had dealt with this company before. Nope, they deducted the finance fee only. This has been happening twice a month for the past six months. It totals around $1,080. I believe the loan is paid in full. I tried to months to find a phone number, website address, or any contact information on them. I could not find a previous e-mail. Nor had they contacted me since. I know it's my fault for letting it drag on so long. I talked to my consolidation counselor about this morning. I listed them on the program as well to be on the safe side. She told me to contact the attorney general's office in Nevada regarding this. I do have these bank statements showing the deductions. Is this something that I can actually pursue?

Involve your bank in this matter. They will dispute each of the debits with the company. The company will verify the items and if they fail to give the explanation of these debits, you should have a refund from the company back in your account.
As the debits that have been made were also not justified, you should file your complaint against them to the attorney general office. Place your complaint at the FTC and the BBB website also.
You must have understood the consequences of taking a payday loan. These loans don't help at all. They hurt our budgeting system. I am sure you won't take a payday loan again in the future. Will you?

No, I won't. I've learned a valuable lesson about these loan sharks. The bank account is now closed since these lenders are with Town & Country now. I'll see what I can do through general attorney's office. I should have put a stop payment on this a long time ago. To be honest with you, I was too scared to. I am learning so much through this forum. I won't let these people intimidate me anymore. It's nice to know that you guys are here.

Great! It's nice to have people like you also who learn from their mistakes. Remember, if there is one making a mistake, there are two saving him. So, I hope you will also help someone and stop him from making the mistake. Enjoy these holidays nicely!

I am sending JD Marketing a certified letter today on my lunch hour. I am asking for a payment history of my account. I do have the bank statements showing these debits since May. This account is now closed but I'm going to also contact the attorney general's office today to see what else I can do. Thanks again for all of your help.
payday loans
I have just come across this forum. It's very informative. I too am a victim of mulitple payday loans! After reading some of the postings I'm freaking out. I don't know what to do. I don't want to close my checking account and I don't want harrassing and threatening phone calls. What should I do?

Lynda, your best move will be to talk with your lender and arrange a payment plan with them. If you contact them first, they will extend some benefits to you and reduce the total debt amount. payday loan consolidation is getting tougher these days and if you are not able to catch up with your bills, things will keep shaping negatively.
Place the call to your lender now and show your concern to pay this debt. I hope there is something good waiting for you.
