And the phone calls begin..500FastCash
me too!
I swear the worst part of this whole thing (after the bank account) was sending out my letter. I wrote it up then rewrote it about 10 times. Then I just ran out of time and knew the ach was coming through last night and I HAD to sent the letters. So far I have'nt heard from the ones who put the ach through(that got kicked back) but at least I know they have the c&d and that gives me a leg to stand on. Without that there is no way you can defend yourself. If they start calling then no one told them not to so why shouldn't they? They proably will anyway but maybe not. Anyway good luck and I do know just how you feel about this. Just take a deep breath type the letter and hit SEND!! By the way I will say what everyone will ask what State are you in?

If the inclusion of contacting their processors would be applicable here, I can tell you that UsFastCash and 500 FastCash use Intercept EFT to move their funds. The also use Bremer Bank as their originator. You will need to send a C and D letter prior to contacting them. Letting the PDL know that you have done so should give you an edge as well. Good luck and keep us posted.

Dawn - Im in Illinois...
llw - how do I go about contacting the processor? Unfortunately, my phone was one non necessity that I had to let payment slide on. Sounds crazy that I still have cable, but I am going to college online, so that got moved to priority.. So anyways, I can't make any phone calls. I can send faxes from work tho. And I send the c&d letter first then contact the processor rite?
I just kick myself about these stupid payday loans. I wish more people knew what they were getting themselves into when they get them. It has totally messed my life up right now. And to add insult to injury, I got sued for a repossession, that was being taken out of my account every month.. Well, THAT got returned now too. So now Im freaking out that they'll just garnish my check. *sigh*
I need to start playing the lottery to get outta this mess. LOL
Thanks for all the help!!

Yes, you need to send the C and D letter first as the processor won't be willing to help if they have not been notified of your revocation. I have a phone number only as I did everything with them by phone. I am sure that someone on this board has contacted Intercept by email. I know that you can get an email address off of their website but I am not sure if it would advisable to have a definite personal contact to get through. You could try the website and see if it gets you any results. Could you possibly get access to a phone via a friend, neighbor, work? The number you need is 1- 800-378-3328, ask for Cindy. They also use Bremer Bank 1-800-908-2265 as their originator of the loan. I don't have a fax number for either. Contact all possible avenues if you can.

great, thanks for the info. What do I tell them when I call them?
Also, what do I say to the bbb and ag and ftc I think? Do I contact them after I get nowhere with the pdl?
This mess still makes me sick to my stomach, but Im sooo glad I have you guys to help me through this!

Send the complaints to the bbb, ag, ftc, etc. ASAP. There is a form to fill out on line, in most instances. When you call the processor, tell them that you have sent a C and D letter and the PDL is continuing to request a debit on a revoked authorization. Just make sure your account is CLOSED as they will go into it and take whatever they can. You need to protect your money first, then slam them. I know the sick feeling. . . . .but it does get better. Where are you again?

Im in Illinois.
Thanks forthe info. My account is SO far in the red that they won't be able to get another cent. Should be closed in a couple days. *sigh*
Right now I am kinda glad my cell is off. I know those people would be blowing it up. LOL And luckily the receptionist at my work is cool and told me it was really not a problem taking a message from them.
