This website has been a godsend. I have 2 pdl's with a2bcash.com $200 loan and paid so far $518.00

and loanpointusa.com $300 loan and paid so far $450.00

I have now begun a long process of getting these resolved. I sent out my ACH revocation 9-1-08 and they have still taken monies out of my account. I am really trying to keep a civil thought in my head regarding these people but it is very hard. Especially when I have read some of the stories on here.

I called the bank and put a hold on any ACH that comes from these companies. The girl in customer service was very polite and helpful.
I have also filed a comlaint with the BBB regarding loanpointusa.
I have also filed with my bank and hopefully will get the monies back this week.

Thank God for this website. I would have kept having sleepless nights in California over all this. I am so angry I will be taking out my pms agression on any pdl company that takes advantage of people that just need a little help to get over the hump. You guys are wonderful!!!!!!

I find it funny you had no problems when they deposited the money in your account. I know for a fact you had to sign loan documents which contained the triple digit apr and explanation of fees. Perhaps you're the failure, and you should get your life in order and pay off your debt rather than try and drag an industry down which HELPS responsible people like myself.

whatever guest.the point is that just about all internet pd's act illegally in some way.for example.in my state of illinois the laws are cut and dried.i had no idea about what the regualtions were.that is up to the lender not the consumer.i got turned down for quite a few because of illinois laws regarding pdl's.question, have you ever had an internet pdl?everyone here has about the same stories.the entire pdl industry needs an overhaul.until then this forum and others like it exist to educate people, because the ipdl industry is nothing short of loansharking.
hope i made the point clear enouh.if not just know your opinion is just that.an opinion.

To the person who was not pleased with me, sorry to be so mean...............NOT...... I did not know the laws and then once I found out I am on the warpath. I have used another company when I needed some cash for a bill and they were completely above board and followed the law to a T but those that think they are above the law need to realize they will have to pay eventually.

I am not planning to close the acount due to the fact I want more evidence to take to the state. If they try to put through a paper check without my signature then I will take the appropriate measures.

Say a prayer for me. I want to stop these leeches.
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!! You guys have been such a help.

You too, fellow Californian ! :D
Now let's do some food for thought. We were all following the Congressional debate on the government bailout of the financial industry today, right? Did anyone scold their CEO's over their irresponsible use of money? Then why should we scold someone who was desparate enough to use a PDL? As one who once had 10 of them, trust me, I know noone WANTS to go this route.
Now if someone can pay their PDL back with one cycle, more power to them--and I can tell you that that is one customer a PDL doesn't want, as they're not going to make any money that way.
It's a flawed business model as the only way they can turn a profit is through outrageous fees. Yes, our pious friend has to stomach the fact that a PDL wants someone like me, who PDL'd for years, over someone like him or her. And what's wrong with this picture?

Many internet PDl's misrepresent themselves; One of them (whom we ALL know and love!!) has a customer "testimonial" on their home page about how great they are; it gives a first name and the state the person is supposedly from; seeing as PDL's are prohibited in that state, isn't that WRONG on the part of the PDL to make it seem like it's fine to do business with them? I've learned the hard way, PDL's are NOT there to help people, but just to get as much money as they can from them.

Anyhow, that being said - "angry little buttercup," I would agree with other posters, it would be best if you close your bank account completely. Talk to the manager at your bank, I'm sure they've heard about the PDL problem before. Make sure that they don't charge any return fees when the PDl's try to submit their ACH's or checks to your account after it's been closed. And do NOT tell the PDL's ahead of time that you're closing the account or they'll try to bleed as much money from it as they can beforehand. Good luck and keep us posted!

I will have to wait to close the acount since it has been put in overdraft since these people (and I use the term loosely) have taken out unauthorized withdrawals on my account. a2bcash.com are really working hard to get money from me. I have moved and they somehow got my new number. They are not happy with loud noises that somehow come up when they call............hmmmmmm wonder if they will call again. Anyhoo I will have to wait a few more days for the bank to get my money back so that I can either open a new one with them or just close it out all together.

I found an address for a2bcash.com:
A2BCash.com
P.O. Box 773
Los Angeles, CA 90078

Don't know if it's a good one or not.

I do and will continue to respect others opinions on this and other sites. Even if I do not agree with them. I would like to know what I may have said that would be offensive to others. Please let me know and I will gladly never do it again. I do not agree that the payday loan companies are good for emergencies since I have read and learned personally about how quickly it can escalate.
