Who are they? They have called my work and now went to switchboard asking to be sent to anyone in the company including my supervisor (thankfully, the switchboard does NOT allow that to happen). Anyway, I have not answered the call yet (because I haven't been in a position to take the call). I did a search here, and found they are typically the collection agency that Cash Direct Express (i.e. GECC) uses.
So what are my rights as per FDCPA? I know the following: do not admit to owing anything; ask for a dunning letter (or letter of collection) which should be mailed within 5 days; ask for full name, company name, address, valid phone number; do not give ANY personal information; file complaints with Attorney General and FTC (which I think I did...will have to check); and if I receive a letter, must sent debt validation letter within 30 days.
What else? What is considered a violation? The calls to other people here at work? Is it within my rights to ask that they not call my work? I know it's an intimidation tactic because they have yet to call my personal phone.

yes calls at work are illegal,but you must state that first.then
