Plain Green is an illegal tribal lender. You should send them ACH revocation letter and request a refund if you've paid more than borrowed.

Cashnet USA is a legal lender in CA. You should contact them and see if they will give you an epp.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is an epp?

I only know because I emailed them and asked for one and they complied. They split the total into four payments 1 every 2 weeks.

In regards to my Plain Green Loans, I have already taken a total of 4 loans totaling the amount of $4,400. To date, I have made payments totaling $6,846.60. I want them to stop and return what has been overpaid. Is that possible?

They'll stop if you revoke ACH authorization. They're tough to deal with regarding refunds so I wouldn't hold your breath on that one but, at least you won't be paying any further payments.

EPP = extended payment plan. This is an option for legal payday lenders.

I revoked ACH authorization via email with Plain Green Loans, now they want me to call them. What should I do? Please see email try sent me in response. Do I have to call them? I don't want to deal with pushy representatives.

just want to make sure that Plain green loans is still currently illegal in California?

Do not talk with them on the phone... as mentioned do it through email. Only time you should talk to the on the phone is to make a payment with your prepaid debit.

I doubt you'll see a refund, but you can try. I've dealt with Plain Green and overpaid them as well. I've been sending them refund requests for 2 months and no response.
