What a joke! I give them my new account number for my "credit" and the nightmare starts all over again. I am going to suggest they Western Union or Money Gram me the money instead. They will also need to provide a PIF. If I had not found this site I might be gullible enough to believe this nonsense. I can't thank you enough!

What I would do is, open up another bank account temporary and give them that account number and have a hard block on it so that only deposits go through and not debits.

Who Knows you might actually get the refund. But actually having them send it to you via money gram or money order or other form would be better.

Since they have admitted they owe me money I am going to pursue this until I get it. I responded to her email with this.
Dana,
Thank you for the quick response to my correspondence. I appreciate your offer to refund the $472.50 into my checking account, but due to some fraudulent activity on that account I have closed it at the California Attorney Generals request. I would be more than happy to provide you with my address again so you can send a money order. Or better yet, you could send the refund I am due through Money Gram. Please let me know which avenue you choose as I will need a reference # in order to receive your money gram. Because of the circumstances I am unable to accept anything other than a money order or Money Gram transfer. Please include a PIF for my account with your next reply. Again, thank you for taking this matter seriously and making matters right as soon as possible.
I can't wait for her response. I'll let you know what happens.
LOL! I can't wait to see the outcome of this one! Keep us post
