ACH Processor information?

I'm still trying to get United Cash Loans out of my hair! What State do you live in? I'm sure UCL is illegal everywhere, but I'm sure someone will be along to assist you who knows more than I do about that. When you go to close your bank account, try talking to the manager about what's happening. It's a good bet they've heard the story before and should be pretty understanding. Make sure that UCL can't force open your account with their ACH's, also make sure that your bank won't charge any return fees when the ACH doesn't go through. Keep us posted!

Maria,

If they debit in different amount and you have sent them ACH revocation letters, you should be able to take a copy of the letter to your bank and dispute their transactions as unauthorized. The bank will then put a hold on all future ACH's from that company.

I know some banks give people a hard time and say they can't do this but be persistent. I bank at Capital One and my manager told me that that is FDIC banking rules. If you revoke an ACH, then the bank has to stop all future ACH's from that company if the company won't quit. Dispute anything that has come through after you submitted the ACH revocation letter.

Thank GOD I have an awesome bank. Sometimes I think that the banks are just as bad as the PDL's.
