have a yard sale, maybe sell any DVD's/CD's to music stores (FYE), sell plasma :D Ask for an advance at work, but whatever you do, don't get another pdl, you'll just get sucked back into it again.

Getting another loan is not even an option. I have learned my lesson. I know the day will come when I will have this behind me. I just can't believe I have found myself in this position. I am so disappointed in myself.

I think a lot of us can relate to how you're feeling-I know I have been there.
Had a hard time concentrating in work, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep..............
I also couldn't believe I was so stupid and let myself get caught in the endless trap.
The day I closed my checking account and said goodbye to the PDL's was one of the best days I ever had.
I also joined a credit union and a lot of them now offer "Better Choice Loans" which are great. They are for a max of 500.00 and are no credit check (just like a PDL). The interest is very low on this loan and they allow 7 paydays to pay it back.
Hang in there................it really does get better.

It DOES get better, believe it or not. I had several PDl's, my credit got messed up, the whole 9 yards. Slowly but surely I'm working my way back. Don't worry about the pity party, we've all been there, my friend.
don't give up
Hi. Please don't give up. If you need food for your kids, go to a food pantry. They will help you. Call your local town's human services department if you don't know where one is. Feeding your kids and keeping a roof over your head and keeping the lights/heat on are the priority here. Everyone else can wait. Did you close your checking account so these companies could no longer take money out?
I was in the overdrawn checking account/vicious PDL loan repayment cycle myself last year; it took months to finally get out.
Try not to get too stressed out about this. Believe me, you are not alone. Just do the best you can, things will get better.

kcooks3973 they are all right, DONT GIVE UP! I know it is hard right now, but it will smoothen itself out in a couple months. I too had PDLs, 11 to be exact, and it took me awhile to get control back over my financial situation. Try and sell things you really do not use around the house. Maybe get a Emergency fund donation from your local towns social security office. I know their are funds out there that are availible to needy families. But whatever you do no PDL is worth the money. Best of luck

Believe me it does get better, I got to the point where I was paying about $2200 every month tho the pdl's, which was basically my monthly pay. I stopped paying them and somehow I got through it and got rid of all the pdl's. Now I am trying to get my finances back in control & catch up the stuff that got behind. I'd be lying if I said I didn't stress out a lot lately, but I know that it will get better. Like everyone else has said DON'T GIVE UP...there is a light at the end of the tunnel

I know how scary it can be to not have food for your kids or gas to go anywhere. Been there before.
Some helpful hints to get you by:
Call Red Cross and see if they have emergency programs. Call 211 and do the same. Sell anything you can. Go to food banks. Depending on your income, you could qualify for help from the state. Local church's. Donate plasma ( as someone has mentioned before....it's not fun, but it works ).
I also understand that sometimes, you cannot make arrangements with companies because even if they did allow it, you still might not have the money for it. I personally have gone the route of bankruptcy, and I'll tell you what my lawyer said to me. " the only important thing is a roof over your head and food on the table, everything else you can fix in time".
