ACH revoke advice and question
Date: Thu, 11/13/2008 - 02:47
I am in Ohio and the PDL is legal.
I have a loan with PayDay One online that is due 11/21 for $575.00. I have emailed them and spoken with them about payment arrangements but they "claim" due to the new law passed in Ohio they can not work with me.
I am going to send them a ACH revoke letter to them via email and certified mail and ask to block them at my credit union. I was able to block Magnum Advance and the credit union had no problem doing that form me. Hopefully I can speak to the same person that helped me before. I will make sure they are blocked BEFORE I send the letters.
Do you think between the ACH revoke letter and the block at the bank they will at least be willing to make arrangements? Or do you think they will just start hounding me and my references?
When I speak with them and they again claim I am going to have to pay in full my answer is going to be that I made numerous attempts to make arrangements and at this point they are going to have to wait until I personally save up the money each pay to pay them in full.
If at that time they agree to make arrangements I am going to demand that payments be made via US mail. I will not remove the block from my accounts.
What if they want Money Gram or Western Union should I agree to that or just stick with Money Orders and the US mail?
Does this all sound like it will work? Any advice or experiance with this lender is appreciated.
