I dont think this topic has been posted before, if it has I apoligize. But I spoke with an Investigator in the AG office in Florida. He told me that most people get cleaned out of thier new accounts for two reasons:

Out of 4000 PDL's listed on the web when they started thier research, they identified only 38 companies. We all know that Geneva Roth is also Loan Point, etc. But what tends to happen, is you take another payday loan OR make payment arrangements with old payday loans and GIVE them your new account info. Odds are, it could be the same company that you were already running from. Giving any lending institution your new account info is taking a huge gamble that your old payday loan company will find you and clean you out.

I closed my old account in my fight with Geneva Roth, and opened a new account at the same bank. I made payments arrangements with a different company OneClickCash for the payments to come out of my pre paid Credit Card. I am hoping that Geneva doesn't find this account. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I've heard many times that pdl companies refuse to give any address information making Western Union impossible. The other down side is that even though it's great they will not have your bank information...it's also true that it'll be difficult for you to also prove that you've made payments. In these situations, I've heard of people using prepaid credit cards and they will only deposit the exact amount needed to pay these loans. You'll be able to track payments and also make sure they don't clean you out.

PDLS can find your new account if you open a new bank account and start taking another loan from another PDL. This PDLs are all connected. They might have different names but most of them belong to the same company. They will even trick you by sending email asking you to take another loan using a different company. Theyre taking their chances of the fact that you might go for it and put all your new bank info.
