So I got a call today from a man that says his name is Mike Anderson (with heavy accent) from federal banking association. He said that he was calling on behalf of Quick loans who owns over 300 PD companies. He wanted my lawyers number so he could send them the charges being filed against me. I tried to gather as much information as I could throuogh his thick accent. Here are the bullet points of what he told me.
he could not send me any information because my loan did not generate any paper so he could not provide me with confirmation.
A warrent for my arrest wouold be issued on Monday and I would be picked up at 11am. When he asked if I had a child and I said yes he replied "Oh God, who is going to take care of your child when you are arrested?"
He would give me no information what so ever because it was only to be given to my lawyer.

In my head I know that he is full of it. I even said that if he would not send me any information then how was I to varify that he was legit and he said you know I am legit because "Have I asked you for any money?"
Now I am freaking out a little because of the off chance he is right. This is supposedly from Dec. 2007. I did have loans then but I either paid them off for too much of paid the principal and through you guys fought to have the PID on my account. Please help me sort all of this out.

never fear, this loser is in india and can't do squat to you.in fact don't talk to this idiot again.if you find yourself in that position just hang up.this is another alias of USNATIONALBANK.a notorious scam.do a search in the bar upper right will tell you all about the thick accented waste of life.do not even think about giving him anything but your scorn and hatred.sorry, but these clowns need to be dealt with.

sounds like a 3rd party collection tactic. they are desperate and will try anything to get money out of you. the part about he cant send you any information because your loan didnt leave a trail, thats bs because there has to be some sort of proof of the debt or how can they collect on it? and the part about him not asking you for any money, it is just a collection tactic to try and scare you into paying whatever the debt is.

They just called back before I got back on here. When I told him I could not understand him he said "Are you being racist because this call is being recorded." He then told me to be in Irwin Cal. Monday morning at 10 am with my lawyer and the two people I put down as refrences. Well being in Illinois I will not be in Cal on Monday so he said that I would be picked by 11am. I almost laughed but I was too steaming mad. I did ask for a validation of debt and he said no

only with a court order.an online pdl can't,but they can try to push a wage assignment through.that is voluntary and revokable.which pdl are we talking here?i would give your HR or payroll person a wage assignment revocation letter.also what state are you in?some states don't allow garnishment except for government debt, student loans or child support.that comes into play as well.

does nevada have a garnishment law. In other words, can online pdl initiate a garnishment or wage assignment ot be taken from your direct deposit? I'm very concerned.

wage assignments are voluntary and can be revoked with a letter.an online pdl most likely is not legal and therefore won't be able to get a garnishment.which online pdl are we talking?how much was borrowed and how much debited by this pdl?i would file AG and FTC complaints asap, and give a EAGE ASSIGNMENT REVOCATION letter to your HR or payroll person.

I received a call from the federal Banking Association from Califorina and was to talk to Eric Matthews about being in court on Friday for charges of bank fraud, check charges, theft by deception. I ask who filed this and he said I had funds deposited into my banking account by quick cash which I never had or heard of. He had the last four digits of my social security and my e-mail address and my home town. He would not give me any more inforation and told me to get a lawyer and not to waste his time anymore. Do you have any advise on this. very concerned

I jumped on here right away after I got that call on Friday. I was scared and mad. It is a total scam. I went on the gov. site and filed a complaint. I also called them back, didn't care who it was I talked to and told them I knew they were a scam and that I filed the complaint. I told them that if I heard from them again that I would be the one filing charges. I have not heard another word.

I have to admit that I got really mad over that so i blocked my number and called them back. I gave them a little piece of my mind. Well, maybe more than once. I was polite everytime I called and stated that I knew they were frauds, I reported them, and that if they EVER called me again I would be the one pressing the charges. I don't think it made any difference but I felt better.
