help! I really have sunk to the bottom and am not sure how to survive this pdl cycle! Actually make decent money, but last yr husband lost his job and trying to pay for childcare and a new car loan really put us over and I got myself into pdls that now are eating over $1100 a month in payments. This is my first time to this forum, but seems like people are getting the help. These are my loans:
1. 247advances online $148 monthly; paying since Dec08 orginal amount $250
2. Paydayone online $436 monthly; paying since Nov08 original amount $1000
3. Advance America storefront $159 monthly; paying since Jan09 (refinanced last monthly on $550 remaining of original amount of $880)
4. ChecknGo storefront $304 monthy; paying since April09 (had previous loan paid off month prior for $700, but it was all my extra $, so took out another for $700).
I live in Illinois. Any help or advice is greatly appriciated. Loans are due this fri for many of them.
Thank you

1) Advance America and Check n Go are both part of CFSA and should honor extended payment plan requests. You'll need to go into the stores to make those arrangements.

2) Then go to the bank and close your account. That will get 24-7 out of your life. They're an illegal offshore lender and you owe them nothing based on what you say you've paid.

3) Payday One is licensed in most, if not all, states where it lends. However, they aren't known for hardcore collections and will usually work out a payment plan or even a debt reduction if you ask.

Thanks for the advise. I really would not like to close my bank account. could I just have the bank stop payment from them? with the storefronts they are installment loans; can i still request a payment plan? Also do you know with payment plans do I continue making interest payments?
thank you
