I had a very threatining phone call from a payday loan lender. He told me that he was calling from a law firm but he wouldnt tell me which one. He told me legal action would be taken against me and good luck to me because I willl need it. I told him he was a fake law firm and he hung up on me..I just retained Oak View Law firm, can this company do anythng to me?

Record the conversation or note the number from which you are getting the call and the time of call and tell them that you are going to file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the local attorney general???s office. When they will see that you are an educated customer, they will come to the best of their behavior.
ii. Also login to your secure client area on our website www.ovlg.com and create the call log of this kind of calls that you are getting. In your secure client area there is a feature by which you can make a log of all the calls you are getting from your creditors with date, time and the conversation you had with them. If you are not sure how to do that, please feel free to call your client relationship manager, she will be glad to help you.
