Need some serious help

Ameriloan - $350 loan, pd $270
Nationwide - $400 loan, pd $227
signmyloan.net - $400 loan, pd$200
HOWEVER, these are new loans I took out with these companies at the beginning of this summer. I have past loans which were paid but paid in full (high interest and principle and all). Can I request that they apply that overpament to my recent loans? I hope so..I can barely make my rent and car payment thanks to these slimbags. Older loan info:
Ameriloan: $390 loan, pd $540
Nationwide: $400 loan, pd $1,440
signmyloan.net - $400 loan, pd$1,362
Also, I have a copy of the letter that I need to send them (the one to order them to stop additional debits from my account). Do I just send them it via email? Will they actually stop the debits right away or do I need to go to the bank asap to freeze the account? I'm nervious because my husband's unemployment is direct deposited into that account and I'm worried it will take a while to transfer it to our other account. I bank with Chase and I think they will keep the account open for a month to ensure that any pending transactions will go through. I've already paid nearly 300 bucks in the last 10 days to them in NSF fees... that's most of my car payment, which I was supposed to make tonight. Obviously can't happen now :(
Thanks,
Kim

You should go to your bank and tell them you want a block on all ACH transactions (debit) so you don't incur any more bank charges. I completed ACH revocation form at my bank (I'm in NJ) and although they charged me, it was well worth it. All debits were frozen until my direct deposit hit, then bank opened a new account and closed the old one. Is there any way you can get unemployment to stop the next direct deposit? Maybe contact them via phone or on-line? Once you have your account secured, send the letters to the pds. I e-mailed and faxed mine.

No, they won't stop debiting your account, in fact, if you send out those letters before you close your account they will make attempts to withdrawal the entire amount you owe, and maybe even more! Make sure you close or freeze your account BEFORE you send out ANY letters! Internet lenders are no longer legal in Illinois, therefore none of your lenders are licensed. Great. I emailed them this morning before checking the responses to this thread. I'll have to make a stop right after work at the bank. From what it looks like, my husband can make changes to his direct deposit right on the IL employment security website.
Also, how long does it take the PDLs to respond? I figured I'd hear from them almost immediately...not so much the PIF as I'd like but rather a "excuse me...you need to pay us" email

you can tell the unemployment office that you need the DD stopped immediately b/c the account has been compromised. They usually take that VERY seriously and will expedite stopping the direct deposit.

On a better note, I heard back from signmyloan.net....they offered me a refund of $545. They said they will wire it to the account they have on file. They also said I would need to provide a copy of my driver's license. Does this sound okay?

You should not let them have assess to your account if it is a new account. They can debit anytime they want. I closed my account and started a new one. If you do this do not give them any information about this account. Request that they send you a paper check.

Fast & Reliable sent me a check via express mail. I would ask for a check. Tell them that you no longer have a checking account because of all the overdrafts..... they won't know the difference.
